Our adult lessons are tailored to each swimmer’s individual needs. We address any worries or concerns regarding water they may have, and tackle those together. By tackling any worries, it helps us provide a perfect environment to ease swimmers into the water, giving them a relaxed and stimulated state of mind, ready to achieve the best possible result.
The main learning outcomes from all of our lessons:

🫧 Develop all swimmers’ competence in water

Our adult class lessons have a maximum number of 4 swimmers per class, and are divided into 2 different stages.
Beginners
Class for non-swimmers and low confidence swimmers. Also suitable for swimmers who have water phobia, or past traumas. We work on building confidence up, learn the basic principles of swimming, and break down any mental barriers.
Improvers
Class for swimmers who understand and can perform the basic swimming principles. Swimmers should be able to float independently on their back, have a basic understanding and ability to swim on their front and back. In this class we work on the basic principles of stroke technique and development, for all 4 strokes; Front crawl, backstroke, breaststroke and butterfly. All work is based on a progressive programme, working towards awards if desired.
